Use Case: Purdue University’s Nanotechnology Center

Purdue University subscribed to Virtual Twin as a Service to train their workforce and validate operator environmental conditions before the manufacturing facilities were built.

The Virtual Twin of the Birck Nanotechnology Center allows students, technicians and engineers to remotely access and experience the nanotechnology facilities, regardless of their location, and even when the physical facilities are not available. This provides:
- An improved and accelerated operator training.
- The multiplication of discoveries in materials and device research.
- The validation of semiconductor fabrication and processes, such as lab layout, power considerations for HVAC and its airflow/particle analysis, new equipment installation.
- And much more.
